About Project Kindness
Project Kindness is a pay-it-forward movement that starts with kids that originated at an elementary school in Ada Michigan. Each act of kindness represents one step. Our goal was to gather enough footsteps to walk kindness through our community, but our long-term goal is to gather enough steps to walk kindness all around the world. This project will continue to evolve and grow but we have already made our way outside of our first school.
Every act of kindness is a step toward a kinder tomorrow... and every step in the right direction makes a difference.
How It Works
Each act of kindness will be counted as one step as long as it’s recorded on our Facebook page. (a full website is in the works). As a secondary element to the project students were asked to deliver a Project Kindness leave behind card with each act of kindness and suggest the next person keeps the steps going which may be what has directed you to our temporary website. The idea is to complete a random act of kindness and leave the card behind suggesting that person then completes an act of kindness of their own. However, the most important part is to make sure each act of kindness story is shared so we can fully track our progress.
Get in touch
Although Project Kindness started with the students of Ada Elementary in Ada Michigan, Kindness steps are not limited to just children or even just community members in Ada. In fact, we encourage families from any location to join us in spreading kindness in their communities and we very much welcome other schools to join our movement.
